The hotel had loads of attractions and activities for children of all ages. Staff was very friendly. Harry was always very helpful and Angelica from the pool bar was extremely nice what made our stay even better.

We were very happy at this location. Very kind staff, perfect and varied food, daily cleaning, shows organized every evening, that's all you need for your vacation. We rented a car from the hotel to visit the island and we recommend it. They also provided us with transportation to and from the airport. We hope to return next year accompanied by friends. Thank you all!

Everything was great! Elena is the most wonderful host, she made sure we had everything we needed, communication before and on site was super helpful and clear , she arranged the transfer for us and waited for us with a wonderful home made cake! :) She gave beach toys to our kids and was there to help with anything:) The apartment is beautifully renovated, Eva cleaned our apartment daily, changed towels and bedding as needed, she even washed our clothes when we needed some to be washed. Honestly the apartment has all you need, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with all the basics for cooking like oil and spices...but on top of that Elena left us some local goodies to enjoy and little things like cold water in the fridge so you feel like you arrive to a 5* hotel :) The beach is literally 3 minutes walk and superb for little kids, all you need is a few minutes walking ...supermarket, pharmacy, shops and restaurants, car rental, taxi... The place is just perfect for a beach holiday with kids or to explore Crete from. I could not recommend Elena's Apartment more! Thank you Elena and family for your efforts and hospitality, you cannot think of a better host!

From arrival and the drive towards the villa you knew you would be in for a treat, what a location and view for the villa! Just stunning sunsets , tranquil and serenity in stylish accommodation. Nikos is most friendly and very thorough on the villa rules. Warm welcome with local treats and some home baked goods on different morning. Always on hand to help with anything, just great communication from host. The villa is only 5-10mins drive to a very lovely beach with a great strip of restaurants with the perfect holiday vibe, also close enough to travel to kissamos to visit the famous beaches, just the most perfect base for Crete.

The villa is much larger than the pictures make out, it’s very peaceful, it was clean and has been well maintained. Anna’s communication was great from start to finish. A week wasn’t enough I wish we could have stayed longer. We found so many amazing beaches just 15 mins drive with lots of tavernas with great food, I loved this villa so much it was perfect for myself my partner and my two kids. We would definitely recommend to book this villa.

The property in Malaxa was lovely We all enjoyed our stay at his authentic mountain house set in a beautiful location with gorgeous views. The house was spacious and well furnished. The amenities were also great and the owner had kindly provided refreshments and breakfast items which were much appreciated. We had a very comfortable stay, and only wish we stayed longer, would recommend to anyone looking for a special place to enjoy a family trip!

An exceptional hotel, beautiful, spacious room, very clean and everything impeccable. They upgraded us to a room with a balcony and sea view so we also had a beautiful view. Quality breakfast, with various options and very tasty. Very good location, in 5 minutes walk you can reach the port, the center anywhere. We could park the car on the street without any problems and it is free. Very friendly staff always. We had a car breakdown and the gentleman at the reception did everything he could to help us. I recommend the hotel and we will definitely stay again.

    Comfortable room, spacious and nice view. Plenty of food variety at all meals. Lots of space to sunbathe, no need to hurry to bag a deckchair! The spa was great, plenty to choose from and a great service provided.

    Great location right on the beach , near to beachside restaurants 50 - 100 metres to the right and right in the small town centre for more restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Kalyves is a very relaxed place , retaining a traditional feeling not touristy in the slightest. Mixture of nationalities , French, German, Polish, British, Israelis and more. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Two nice swimming pools outdoor and one indoor pool in the spa. Water was a bit chilly but was mid may so not surprising.

    The property has two main areas, which both had restaurants, outdoor baths, kids clubs etc. The outdoor pools are not heated but this was compensated by a large and warm indoor pool. The hotel room was spacious. The restaurants offered a nice selection, the food varied a bit from day to day.

    The hotel was lovely! Our room was great. We had a maisonette for four people which was very well designed. Good air conditioning, two bathrooms and two outside spaces. The swimming pools were really nice and you could get sun beds at any time of the day which was brilliant. I loved being able to lay on a sunbed in the pool area looking out to sea! The beach was small but Sandy and perfection swimming. The hotel is in a lovely peaceful location so we had a very relaxing holiday.
