An exceptional hotel and certainly the best I stayed in during a week in Iraqi Kurdistan. THe staff were all trained so well - they were courteous, friendly and spoke a generally excellent level of English. The swimming pool area (indoor/outdoor) with two saunas, steam room, Hamam and jacuzzi was superb, and opening hours of 6am to midnight were more than generous. The location is out of town (so no traffic noise) but easy to get to. WiFi was consistent and strong, and room service very reasonably priced with a large selection. My only slight complaint was that, being there during Ramadan, the usual buffet breakfast was replaced by serving a set breakfast, which included many items I would never choose on a buffet. I imagine if visitors go when the usual buffet breakfast is running it would be very good, and certainly preferable to having someone in the kitchen decide what you might want to eat!

Staff went above and beyond their service. The clean was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was very big and clean. The continental breakfast was exquisite. I would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Sulaymaniyah.
