We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful property! The hostess was absolutely amazing—she went above and beyond to make our experience special. On the first day, she warmly welcomed us, showing us all the amenities and features of the property. The next morning, she captured stunning photos of the snow-covered landscape and shared them with us, ensuring we didn’t miss the magical beauty of the winter morning. The property itself is even better than it looks in the pictures—truly a perfect getaway spot for friends and family. Located right on the riverbank, the serene surroundings added to the charm of our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, from basic kitchen essentials like sugar and salt to a fully stocked setup with plates, cutlery, a coffee machine, and even ice cubes in the fridge! The attention to detail made us feel at home. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful place. Both the property and the hostess were fabulous, making our trip truly memorable. Highly recommended!

After a drive from Tallinn to Bauska, we received a warm welcome from the host at this beautiful property. The host was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The property itself was cozy, well-decorated, and had a wonderful ambiance. The fireplace added warmth and relaxation, making our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was clean and well-equipped, with all the essentials for cooking, along with outdoor BBQ facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the washroom with a sauna was a fantastic touch. We also enjoyed a game of billiards, along with a great selection of books, toys, and board games—perfect for quality family time. Overall, this property offers excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it!

This is like a paradise. Behind the house opens a amazing view to the lake. In the house there is everything you can ever need. Top on kitchenware. Bed are big and comfortable. There are lots of animals outside of the house that you go to say hello and scratch a little :) One of the finds that i have ever founded tru booking.com.

    This is what You expect best in Latvia, house is country style, nice and relaxed. Interior is a natural mix of country home with some modern additions, nice cozy items, books, pictures, even fur of lynx! Good parking lot and pleasant outside space. As we arrived the key of our room was missing (not returned by those who stayed there before), and we get a spacious luxury room for the same price. The personel were really helpful and attentive.

    Winderful 18 century built cottage with generous hosts. Very sincere ⁰⁹⁰ welcome, plenriful choices for breakfast.Good quality coffee, nice bedding.Warm and cozy in wintertime. Big lounge with fireplace, library & kitchenet. Communal fridge.Stone throw away from Rundale palace&gardens. Free parking. Very polite and helpful staff. It was a true pleasure to stay. Very much recommended at any season but in winter with generous snow, it was a magical experience.

    apartments, Balta Maja, with its own spirit and history. This is a unique place for those looking for a different accommodation. The room is small, but cozy and cute. A hanging chair made it possible to relax with a book. In the morning, you can make coffee in your room and enjoy it when you go outside without anyone disturbing you. This is a corner of heaven on earth. ​

    A wonderful guest house in a historic building near Rundale Palace. The small hotel is cozy and has lots of character. Large bedroom and bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Everything is impeccably clean. Good Wi-Fi connexion. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Very highly recommended.
