VERY nice place - wish we would have had more time there... extremely clean with all that was necessary for a great stay. The location is super with only 5 minutes to shops and restaurants/cafes. Has own courtyard to relax in too! Vincent was very accommodating and friendly. Hope to stay there again!

From the moment we arrived, our host Ovi made us feel incredibly welcome. He greeted us warmly, helped us settle in, and gave great local tips that made our visit even more enjoyable. The penthouse itself is stunning — bright, spotless, and beautifully designed with attention to every detail. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Amsterdam, yet peaceful and private. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Ovi was always available if we had any questions and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. It's rare to meet such a thoughtful and professional host.

This is one of the most amazing locations where I have ever stayed 🤩 I am specifically lucky, as I had the chance to celebrate my birthday in the wonderful Faralda crane. The suites are pure luxury, designed with great love and style. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful niche of the Secret Suite, where we spent hours just enjoying the view of Amsterdam. The hosts are incredibly easy-going, cool and generous. If you are looking for a truly unique location for a special treat, this is the perfect one.

Super cool accommodation resort. The sauna complex is classy and rustic, with many beautiful designs, like the Birdnest sauna. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable with gorgeous redesigning of the fort building. Quiet & dark in the morning. I guess being a fort helps soundproofing! I slept extremely well. The included buffet breakfast was delicious! Perfect for a couple's retreat.

Volkshotel is located in the East district of Amsterdam, only 50 metres from metro station Wibautstraat.

Loved the chia pudding, banana bread was amazing. Coffee was delicious. Loved the sauna. The lounge was inviting and lively lots of social activity. Amazing staff!

Terrific stay at Alp Hotel. We were in Amsterdam for 5 nights and decided to stay here. The hotel is located in a nice calm part of the city, well connected with various Tram stops right in front of the hotel! The hotel is amazingly clean and cosy, with a number of amenities in the spacious room. We were impressed with the cleanliness, high spec finishing of the room and bathrooms as well as the option of the super comfortable spa hot tub. The staff were very generous and hospitable, we asked for extra amenities which were provided to us with a smile.
