The location is great, accessible and close to Leknes. The hotel has amazing breakfast and a sauna and most importantly the staff!! They are really really sweet and warm and welcoming ! They even packed us breakfast as we were checking out early to catch a flight. The restaurant is one of the best and perhaps only fine dine in whole of Lofoten. Try their fried COD fish it’s amazing. We stayed in 3 other places in Lofoten I should say this was our favourite. One minor feedback the bed is too soft and bouncy for us but that’s alright.

We visited in the winter when it was snow covered, magical and unique, quiet enough to spend a bit of time chatting with the wonderful Tommy and Marion. They really went above and beyond - Marion cooked up the best meal of our life using the Atlantic salmon we brought back from a fishing charter Tommy organised. You do not need to be a surfer to love this place, only our son is and he surfed all day every day he was so impressed - the variety of surf boards to rent was outstanding too. Everything was incredible, from the fabulous Beach Villa which was spacious with its own sauna, hot tub, and beautiful view over the beach, running/walking along the waters edge, and of course the northern lights. And definitely the worlds best cinnamon buns - we each had one every day we were there, and took a bag away with us, they are that good! We definitely plan to be back

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive, making me feel truly welcome. A special thank you to Aleksandra Drzal, who was incredibly helpful in arranging both a private boat tour and restaurant reservations—her assistance made a huge difference. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a stunning view that took my breath away every morning. The breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety to suit every taste. The staff at both breakfast and dinner were outstanding—friendly, professional, and made every meal feel special. One of the most memorable experiences was the private boat tour led by Svein Roar Petterson—it was absolutely amazing and a true highlight of my trip. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm, relaxing, and perfectly suited for both leisure and business. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. What a wonderful surprise of a place. Unassuming from the exterior bellies a superb masterclass of shabby chic interiors and comfort. The view over the working docks added interest and an ever changing view. Any questions we had were quickly answered and we felt very well looked after. Great village base for lots of lofoten’s classic walking routes.

The location was very easy to reach and the house was big enough to host our group of ten. We enjoyed the large living room and the hot tub. The communication with Patrycia was excellent and I highly recommend her and her house to everyone visiting Lofoten.

Nice, well-equipped and clean house with a friendly host who is responsive and open to guests’ asks. One of the best places i visited in my life. Stamsund is also a good location for those who want to travel around Lofoten. Save yourself some time and headache, book this place. Shops are close, view is stunning, great accommodation.
