It is a very well presented, spacious room with great facilities. It was awesome having a washing machine. Easy check in and great communication with the manager via WhatsApp. They were also very helpful in printing our visas.

The hotel is hidden in the middle of Chiang Saen. The location is perfect for strolling along the Mekong. The hotel offers numerous activities (we did the offering to the monks at sunrise). The food is fenomenal. The design is amazing and really encourages a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff are very professional and helpful. We can't wait to come back.

Peaceful, quiet, spacious atmosphere with lush and green gardens and many large established trees beside the river. Room was large with comfortable private outdoor table and seating. Location is reasonably close to the centre of town. A public park with a running track is just upstream from the resort.

I really enjoyed my stay! The view is absolutely beautiful, with lovely palm trees and a breathtaking mountain landscape. The host was very friendly, and the breakfast (fresh fruit, good coffee and egg, Bread and jam etc) was great. The pool area is fantastic, featuring a nice pool (1.20 m deep on one side and around 1,90 m on the other side) along with comfortable sunbeds. My room was spacious, with a lovely bathroom and a balcony to relax on. The shared living room was also a nice touch. You can order Grab Food (food delivery) if you like. I had a wonderful massage at the nearby hot springs, which was incredibly relaxing. The International Meditation Centre is a 45-minute drive away, which is also quite nice! The Baan Dam Museum, also known as the Black House Museum, is about a 1-hour walk or just a 13-minute drive. Chiang Rai city and the Blue Temple are a 17-minute drive away. You can easily get a cheap/price-friendly taxi using Bolt or Grab (110 THB, which is a few euros). Overall, a fantastic experience!

Fantastic place to stay, and great value for what it is. Not a lot to do up against the mountains but that is the point, you come here to chill and unwind. The villas are all separate from each other so plenty of privacy and most noise comes from the landscaped stream, frogs and birds and not from other sources. We went in the low season so there was low occupancy at the time and we barely saw other guests. Bathroom is huge and has rain shower and full size bath. Water very hot if you need it. Very kind and friendly hosts who took us to local markets and hot Springs all which i recommend. There is a nice Cafe with view 400m up a steep hill nearby and another opening downhill on the 25th July, im advised by the owners. An excellent stay, highly recommended. Thanks to the our wonderful hosts:-)

    The hotel are exquisite…..The room are big with different Situation of bathroom. Toilette and Shower each a one room. Breakfast a lot of choice and any kind of coffee or tea. The breakfast restaurant a beautiful place for relaxing in the morning. The staff in all parts of the hotel, more than friendly and helpful. Totally is it a hotel typ, where it’s difficult to find in Thailand.

    we have stayed at La Luna many times and would highly recommend it to travellers going to Chiang Rai. the rooms have super huge comfy beds and excellent shower. it’s as clean and spacious as it looks on the photos! The pool is large with plenty loungers to relax on. breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice all the staff are very friendly and helpful would highly recommend a stay at la Luna
