The staff were awesome, and so was the food and breakfast

The location was great, tranquil even though there is some construction next door. Pool and dining area….super cute, very instagrammable…is that a word?!? Okay now it is😅 Baraka, Jennifer and Jackson were extremely friendly and helpful, welcoming and accommodating as well. Breakfast menu is different per day, filling, tummy and served with fruits, coffee and tea. The room was quite spacious and tastefully decorated…LOVE LOVE LOVE! Definitely coming back when I have more leave days…And money to fly in haha

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible. The property itself is stunning, truly a paradise, and the food was excellent. However, what really stood out was the warmth, attentiveness, and readiness of the entire staff, from reception to housekeeping. I would like to highlight a few team members (Lea, Osmann, Isaac, Ali, Jamal - all the management staff from the WhatsApp group), who were essential in making our stay perfect. Among them, two stood out even more (Ali and Isaac from the restaurants), leaving a special mark on our experience with their smiles, joy, and positive energy that they shared with us every day during our meals. They truly made our time here unforgettable. In addition to the above, in the last day they served us a special Indian meal which was special and delicious! ❤️❤️❤️

Very Spacious Room, good location, close to the beach and shops.

From arrival to stay and finally departure everything and everyone was really very accommodating and to our likes. It is really exactly like in the pictures. A place to unwind, enjoy and be in the present.

We had 4 accommodations in Zanzibar, this was the 3rd stop and we were very satisfied. The beach is simply phenomenal, brutally beautiful. You can also splashing in the ocean at low tide. The water was cooler than on the east coast, "only" 29 degrees, while in Jambiani it was 33-34 degrees, but still quite warm. The ocean bed deepened earlier than in the east, but the water was cleaner, there were fewer aquatic plants and less trash on the beach than on the east coast. We were in one of the upstairs rooms overlooking the ocean, it was absolutely fine, like new, not worn, everything was correct and clean, and the cleaning was perfect. We absolutely loved the restaurant on the beach with an ocean view, with sand on the floor, which we haven't experienced before, but we loved it, we were amazed to be able to eat barefoot in the sand. I liked that almost every night there was a show after dinner. We were very satisfied with the behavior of the waiters and other staff, they were all very nice and smiling. I liked that the manager man of the hotel himself paid attention to everything, interestingly, if we had a problem, he was there immediately and helped to solve it (I have no idea how he knew it immediately and showed up immediately :) ). The food wasn't very varied, but we always found something we liked, and anyway we didn't go there to spoil our beach body. :) The hotel is nicely designed, cozy, the night lighting on the trunks of the palm trees... I liked that you could park with the car, and I liked that we got everywhere quickly, and our favorite restaurant, the Italian Mamma Mia, was also accessible by walking along the beach. :) The Maasai were not as intrusive as many wrote here, we told them "no thank you" and then they moved on. I liked that there is a small bazaar street on both sides of the hotel, where you can easily buy all souvenirs.

Julia, Bony, Leon and Makame were exceptional hosts. Always willing to assist where they can. Very honest, friendly and willing to go the extra mile for all guests.

Ondo House is located only 2 mins from beach, with nice swimming pool and terrace where you can chill after tasty breakfast. Rooms are simple and beautiful, cleaning service everyday if you need. Big beds make you sleep very comfortably trough all of the night. There is no problem with Wi-Fi and air cooling. All of the people from Ondo House are so lovely it made us sad to say goodbye. They are there to do everything to make your stay unforgettable and smooth. They organized trips for us as well. Please don’t hesitate to tell them all of your desires because they are ready to make your wishes come true !! Definitely coming back.

Crazy man is such a generous person. Throughout our stay, we felt like his goal was not to make money out of us, but simply to make sure we had the best possible experience in Nungwi. For instance, he offers very cheap snorkeling tours, free laundry services, cheap drinks (cheapest we've had in Tanzania), etc. He also cooked for some of the guests. The breakfast was awesome! I know that many comments mention that the hostel is far from the beach, but we actually appreciated this. If you stay close to the beach, you only see tourist resorts. Walking 20 minutes to the beach every day allowed us to experience a more local side to Nungwi too. Overall, this was one of our best accommodations in Tanzania! Thank you Crazy man!

Very nice and comfortable accommodation, beautiful view of the ocean, delicious food and very helpful stuff. Beach and different restaurants and bars very close to the hotel.
