Everything! The reception manager (sorry, do not remember his name) was extremely kind, called us by names all the time. We got the very quiet room as requested. The room was clean, stylish and comfortable. The inner yard green and blooming.

I've stayed at this hotel for a few weeks at a time for business trips, and I have found it consistently Clean, and comfortable. I've come to love the staff at this hotel. If you run in to a issue, I feel confident they will work something out, and I have trust in this hotel.

The room had a partial view of the ocean, which was nice. The breakfast was perfectly adequate with hard boiled eggs, Danish and more. Also, the hotel is located between two of the best restaurants in Cambria: The Sea Chest and Madeline's.

This Cambria lodge is 10 minutes' drive from Hearst Castle and half a dozen local wine tasting rooms. A day spa with body treatments, a restaurant and country-styled rooms are available.

Fantastic place, from efficient staff to spacious and comfortable rooms, to delicious breakfast, to gorgeous landscaping. We only stayed one night as a stop over, and I wish it could have been much longer.

The location is excellent!! In the morning you go outside and the beach is right there . There is a little trail to walk along the beach . Room is clean and has all amenities needed, fireplace is a bonus .
