In the US we have corporate-captured toxic food, so to cook with wholesome, quality ingredients as available in France was a joy and this kitchen made it fun. Clearly the hosts care about their guests and that care is reflected in every detail. We will always remember our three nights here and hope to return some day. Annecy is magical, not to be missed! Everything was perfect - beautiful property, comfortable and spacious room, lovely pool and spa, incredible buffet breakfast overlooking the lake, very kind staff, 2 min walk to the beach. It was a bit of a splurge for us but worth it!

Located on the bank of Lake Annecy, Abbaye de Talloires offers comfortable accommodation with cultural heritage and a gourmet restaurant. There is free private parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. This place is amazing. We received a complimentary upgrade to the honeymoon suite. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The view from this hotel is absolutely spectacular. Breakfast was 5star.
