The apartment is in the heart of charming old town steps away from restaurants and shops. It seems to have been recently renovated with new furnishings, fixtures, lots of outlets and lighting. The design is tasteful. Overall, this was a really great place and we enjoyed our stay.

The room was great, the location is outstanding, Alex is an amazing host and gave us great recommendations for sightseeing and as well as restaurants - and her breakfasts were superb! Highly recommended!

It was one of the best stay we ever had and we were sad that you were not able to stay for longer. We clearly will come back! The Hostelry offers a place where you feel like home or the home you would like to have. Our room was spacious and comfy. Beds were excellent and the bathroom very well equipped. Olivier, the owner, pays attention to every detail, from the quality of the soap to the entertainment offered. The game room and the interior swimming pool kept our son enchanted (and us too ;)). We had a dinner at the hotel and the meal and drinks were great. Since the Hostelry also proposes seminars and small group events we will surely profit and come back with family, friends and colleagues!

Oh man! This is such a charming property! Mind you, Lydie has a bohemian style, so if you aren’t into that, you may find it quirky. I absolutely adored the thoughtful originality! The tub/shower is open to the room, so bear that in mind. The bed is divine! The grounds are a lovely wild garden with a small pool hidden away. It’s complete peace. Now let’s talk breakfast! Lydie takes great pride in her carefully prepared breakfasts and it shows. You have a choice of sweet or savory breakfasts, whichever your preference, that she delivers it to your room. Her originality even extends to the presentation: jam served in egg cups and sugar cubes in a small Bonne Maman jar. ❤️ It is beyond sweet. Frankly, this is one of the most original and charming places I’ve ever stayed in. Lydie is amazing also. I can’t say enough about her understanding and flexibility. I messed up our reserved days and she completely went with the flow. Mind you, Lydie only speaks French, so if your French isn’t conversational, you will probably need a translator app.

It was an excellent place to stay in Lyon even though it is a little bit outside of the center. The building and its garden was sensational. Our room was very well designed and it was so comfortable and clean. The kitchen and the coffee machine was exceptional plus. They also offer free parking space for each room in their garden.
