The extra facilities like the hot tub and games table were great to have. Everything in the house was clean and seemed new. The host was very responsive in the messaging before, during and after the stay. It was a great house for a family group like ours or for a group of friends, and really easy to catch a bus into Newcastle centre from the main road.

House was fantastic for a multi generational family 80th birthday weekend. Location was fantastic. Easy 30 min walk or Uber (they arrived within minutes) into the centre of Newcastle. Even closer to St James’s Park which was key to the weekend celebrations! It was also an easy 25 min drive to Whitley Bay for the non football fans - great independent shops and afternoon tea, plus a brisk beach walk. The house was perfect, as lots of bedrooms/bathrooms but great communal space too. Yummy breakfasts at home as there is a great Bakery just round the corner and a supermarket 5 mins walk too. Jacqui and Steve were great hosts helping with restaurants beforehand and we arrived to a lovely spotless, warm house with cold drinks in the fridge. We also left some clothes behind and Jacqui kindly posted them back to us. We had a fabulous weekend and hope to be back soon.
