Aristi Mountain Resort sits on the highest point of Aristi village, offering views over the Vikos Gorge and the Towers of Papigo. The view to the small and big papingo and the vikos villages, which twinkled like stars in the night; the stone houses of the hotel; the extremely helpful staff of the restaurant who even packed breakfast for those of us who left too early gor a hike; the closeness to the beautiful voidomatis river and the activities offered in the area.

Ideally located by Egnatia's interchange, the Epirus Lux Palace Hotel is a 5-star hotel, unique in its category in the wider region of north-western Greece. The front desk manager went over and above to find us a ground floor room as we were travelling with our dog. They even added a couple of bowls and a blanket for her! The next day he greeted her by her name, which was so lovely. The dog park at the back of the hotel is a brilliant idea. For humans, we had a large room, very comfortable beds, large marble-clad bathroom with a bath and all the amenities one would want, including a coffee maker and good Wifi. Breakfast was lavish. Definitely on our 'must stay here' list when next in Ioannina.

Apollon is a traditional building with a warm, family environment. It is situated right at the centre of Metsovo. Direct access to your room is possible through the parking area's internal elevator. Perfect location with excellent classic style interior! Comfortable and warm beds. The breakfast was very delicious and generous. Having parking in this location was a big plus. Shower gel and soap smelled nice and everything was clean. Staff is very kind and helpful. Thank you.

We stayed for 8 days at a 1-bedroom apartment with a terrace. The location is superb - it's tucked away from the main street, so it's really peaceful and quiet, and it's still just a 5-6 minute walk from the center and the adjacent beach. There is a parking area big enough for 6-7 cars. The rooms are newly decorated, clean and spacious. The one bedroom apartment included a living room with a kitchen area, a the bedroom itself, a small corridor between the two with a wardrobe to place your baggage, a big bathroom/toilet, and a huge terrace, overlooking the parking. The terrace itself is a big plus, it has a couch, chairs and a table and it's a really nice place to enjoy coffee/snack/dinner, or just chill. The owner is welcoming and polite and gave us tips and directions for the things around.
