Our time in the Houseboat Wild Rose was a wonderful experience full of nice moments with our lovely Host-Family, great food from Kashmere and if course the beautiful nature of Dal Lake with all it's Eagles, Kingfishers (the bird ;D), Lotusplants and many more! Our Highlight was a 7 day Trekkingtour in the Himalaya with Faizan (our Host Jr.) where we saw not just some amazing mountains but also the life of the local people there. Ibrahim and his son Faizaan are wonderful trustworthy people. They helped me plan my entire stay in Kashmir, super helpful and really honest on price. They looked after me from the moment they met me and treated me like family. I even played cricket with his sons ! The trekking that they suggested in Naranag was unbelievable! Views of the Himalayas and the guide Aslam and his family who I stayed 2 nights with were wonderful people. If you are coming to Kashmir, wild rose in srinagar is where you want to stay.
