Very spacious suite for $135 came with complimentary drinks and snacks on arrival. Included great breakfast options. This hotel advertised itself as an adult hotel, on booking sites like Booking.com. Under the law it's classed as a 'love hotel' but don't let that put you off. Our suite gave no clue except for one locked vendor in a cupboard. Fantastic concept with great friendly and helpful staff. Whoever came up with this concept should be congratulated.

À seulement 2 minutes à pied de la gare JR Aomori, l'établissement Iroha Ryokan possède des chambres simples au style japonais avec une télévision à écran plat. Chambre calme. Même si on dort sur un tatami, les 3 matelas superposés conviennent. Eau chaude fournie, thé, micro-onde au RDC, possibilité de manger à la chambre ses propres provisions mais la dame ne faisait pas les petits-déjeuners lorsque j'y suis passée. Prêt de robe de chambre et yukata, linge de toilette changé chaque jour. 1 seule sdb au rdc mais ça va. WC à l'étage. A 2 pas de la gare, dans un quartier très agréable. J'ai pu laisser mes bagages même en arrivant très tôt.

The hotel is very thoughtful on small details. Kid loved the play room a tons. We were there on off season, the atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

The views are nice from the room, and they gave us a 2000 yens voucher (we didn't have breakfast included) which we used for the shop. When they came to install the futons, it wasn't the right time for us, so I asked them to not do it now. When it was the right time, I went to reception to ask for it, I think the women who normally do it had finished their shift but two men from the reception came to the room and installed the 4 futons (you had to add the sheets.on the pillows and the blankets too). I didn't realise this wasn't their job until it was too late but I was very thankful they did it especially as the room was small for 4 futons and the tables and it required some tetris skills.
