Matsuda-san took the effort to pick us up from Toyama train station and even offered to send us back to the train station on our day of departure to Tokyo. The size of the house in Japan is second to none, and there are lots of space for a family up to 8 even. The house is fully equipped with ALL the essentials, including not one but two washing machines with built in dryer as well. The bath tub inside the bathroom is probably one of the biggest I have had in Japan thus far. I will highly recommended this beautiful house if you are planning to visit Toyama.

Food: The Japanese style breakfast and French dinner were both exquisite. Room: Fabulous view of the river from the room. Clean, cosy and you can find many little things that show the thought put into the design. For example, there is a small sliding window between the bedroom and the bathroom that you can open and close. Spa: The experience was so pampering and relaxing, I fell into deep sleep and woke up feeling incredibly refreshed.

Everything was immaculate. The hotel is only a short walk from the bullet train station. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the gym has sufficient amount of exercise machine to keep fits. We can leave our luggage for the day with the hotel after we checked out for our stay.

On the first day, we enjoyed the Western-style menu, and on the following day, we tried the Japanese set—both were delicious and beautifully presented.

Hotel is only 10 mins by car from Tateyama station where you can take a wonderful Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine journey. We stayed in a very spacious, clean and comfortable Japanese style bedroom with a beautiful mountain view. Although the shower room is small, it is well lit, comfortable, and has a strong shower stream. Japanese dinner and breakfast are excellent. We also enjoyed onsen and open bath facilities. Worth mentioning is the warm welcome by the hotel staff.
