A small apartment in the city center, but located on a quiet street. The apartment has everything you need for both short-term and long stays. The check-in instructions were very detailed, and the owner was contactable at any time and answered all my questions to make my stay as comfortable as possible. There is a kitchen with necessary utensils, a refrigerator, a washing machine and an ironing board. The bed is comfortable.

Lao Plaza Hotel has been welcoming guests since 1997 and is located in the heart of Vientiane, a city famous for its temples and monuments. The hotel is very modern, and it’s in a good location. We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool. It was a great place to stay in Vientiane.

Somerset Vientiane is a serviced apartment strategically located between Rue Samsenthai and Rue Setthathilah, just a few minutes from the iconic King Fa Ngum statue. Very well run. Staff efficient and helpful. Property very clean, housekeeping came every day. Laundry room available free of charge with washing machine and dryer. Good choice at breakfast. 24hr visible security.

The breakfast room was in the 11th floor and the large windows gave an impressive view.

My room was quite big and spacious and came with a bath and shower and also had a proper balcony you could sit out on (nice to unwind on late at night with a cold Lao beer). Other facilities in the room were good with a good safe for storing valuables and also a smart TV you could access internet on (good if you wanted to watch stuff on YouTube or similar). Breakfast was great with a diverse menu and plenty of food on offer and also plenty of space in the dining area. Pretty good location too with the area being fairly quiet and the town centre and bus station being about five minutes away.
