While the evening dining options nearby were somewhat limited, it was a small trade-off for the peace and beauty the location offered. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

Great stay here, spacious room with a great balcony. For dinner they served a 3 course meal, well executed. Location is awesome, the view from the pool over the hills and valleys is wild and it wasn't far to Kandy City which I found a bit hectic, so it was nice to escape back to the more natural setting at the hotel. They had a naturalist here, who took us on a morning walk through the pekoe trail and imparted so much knowledge of the local plant & wildlife. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends travelling through Sri Lanka.
