Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Good free entertainment options at the hotel - billiard room, board games, corn hole, pool. The hotel was off the beaten track, but not hard to reach. Follow the paved road from Los Barriles to the small village of El Cardonal, then take the sandy dirt road for 10 km to the hotel. Our small compact rental car made it just fine.
