The room was spacious but they also gave me an upgrade to an even more spacious room. Loved the free in-room mini bar, free-flow snack bar and free wines that comes with the room, they made the experience even greater! Sunset views from the room was a bonus. It was also located really close to the shopping streets and the windmill was 15mins walk away. But if walking is not for you, it is also close to the bus station that takes you the the train station in 10mins.

The building is breathtaking, it's like staying in a museum. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfy. The staff is very nice and friendly. Spa facilities are great, really good value. The restaurant is very nice, offers unusual menu and beautifully served dishes.

An extraordinary place – I highly recommend it! We came from Germany and stayed one night with our two small children. The location is superb, romantic, and full of charm. In the evening, fairy lights would turn on, creating a magical atmosphere. We made a fire outside and enjoyed a hot bath together with the kids. There was a large pool and a big trampoline that the children absolutely loved. Our car was parked safely in the courtyard. We were warmly welcomed, with balloons and a beautiful decoration for my little daughter’s 2nd birthday. We specifically wanted to celebrate her special day here, and we will definitely come back! The planes flying nearby did not bother us at all – on the contrary, the kids were thrilled to see them so close. At night it was quiet, as the house is well insulated and beautifully designed. The location is close to the sea and many lovely restaurants with playgrounds for children. The only thing I would improve is adding a door to the bathroom, but other than that, this place is truly like something out of a fairytale.
