All details are cared for including lovely automatic fireplace to enjoy and electric blankets. Very appreciated after a long day hiking Tongariro trail. Kitchen was well equipped. One of our favourite spots to stay in our whole trip.

Escape is a fantastic b&b, a lot of care and thought has clearly gone into the design and layout of the property. Very comfortable bed, huge clean hot shower, an outdoor bath that runs very hot to do some stargazing at night. Fantastic set up and zero complaints!

Location was good for us as it is only a few minutes from the Mt Egmont National Park where we went hiking. Eltham is an interesting old village, one of the first dairying places in NZ with many old buildings and antique shops. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, providing breakfast and dinner as we arrived on a Sunday and there was not a lot open nearby. The building and rooms are absolutely amazing - the best on our trip in NZ, a 1900 building meticulously renovated and luxuriously appointed, extremely comfortable.

L’établissement Goodin Country Garden vous accueille à Okato (Taranaki), à 34 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Yarrow Stadium. Chris and Steak are wonderful hosts and amazing people. They went to every effort to look after us and make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Chris even supplied some petrol when we were worried we wouldn't make it to the nearest petrol station. On top of that the house is lovely and the views are amazing.

The Devon Hotel and Conference Centre boasts a buffet restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free use of mountain bikes. The property offers free on-site parking and free WiFi. Everything was perfect. The staff were all very nice and professional. The room was really nice and I loved all the little extra touches. The food was of a very high standard and great value for money as we're the drinks at the bar. For what we paid for our stay we couldn't fault anything. It was above our expectations. Fantastic value for money. would highly recommend.
