It's always wonderful to get good service in Sweden (as it can't be taken for granted)! The staff a Hotel Furusund was exceptional! They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! For that alone, I will give them 5 stars. Beyond that, the hotel is located in one of the most idyllic parts of the Swedish archipelago, it was a famous artist community at the turn of the century. There is lots to see, or you can just relax and take the views from the hotel. Recommend a room with a view! The restaurant goes out of its way to serve inventive dishes that are quite delicious. The breakfast buffet is also one of the best I've had. I will be back! Thank you so much!

I recommend taking a walk around in the evening. The host was very nice, even though he didn’t speak English very well, we felt warmly welcomed. He has four cats who were absolutely adorable and always ready for a little petting. The room was cozy, the view was amazing, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We could even drink tea and coffee, and there were even some free fruits and chocolate. I’d definitely recommend this place!
