The staff were each superb---shout out to both the women at the sauna. Very personable and helpful. The front desk staff also exceptional. Morning breakfast had excellent variety. I will visit again.

All of it! Rachel and Dale were fantastic hosts! The lodge is just a magical place, you must see the waterfall, it's fairy grotto heaven! The room was spectacularly well-appointed, and the breakfast and the other guests were wonderful. The three dogs are really friendly and so is the cat! The frog chorus was a surprise but not intrusive, even next door's cockerel was well-mannered and waited till nearly 7 before announcing his presence. If you read a negative review of this place that person has no soul and should be confined to staying in Days Inns!

Comfortable Accommodations: Allred Hotel in Newport offers family rooms with private bathrooms, sea views, and modern amenities. Staff was always very friendly and welcoming, we had a busy schedule and missed the room attendants, but they were super kind when we requested towels at the end of our long day. The room has an excellent view.

Even when I checked in the lovely lady on reception said “Mr Lawrence?” I know there were only 2 more People to check in but still fabulous. She knew the answers to all our questions. Located directly on the beach with views of Haystack Rock, this Cannon Beach hotel features a spa and wellness centre. Fab location right on the beach, friendly and helpful staff, great shops and restaurants within walking distance. Very clean, nice to have a pool.
