An outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court, as well as barbecue facilities are available on-site at 1 Ezulweni, an apartment located in Ballito, just 400 metres away from Thompson's Bay Beach. The location was perfect, the images does not do it justice. it is absolutely stunning and tranquil, the weather played its part as it was sunny throughout our stay, waking up to the waves breaking and the sunrises set the tone for the day ahead. Thanks to Tanya for her hospitality and checking in on us, the housekeeping ensured we were actually on holiday, the security in the estate was great as well. Looking forward to our next visit to Durban, South Africa as this will be our first stop.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! My room was spacious and had everything I needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – I slept like a dream. Hair dryer! They have laundry bag. The large bathroom with a deep bathtub was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The pool area was wonderful, and the sofa zone was so peaceful – an ideal place to read some book and recharge. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with tasty food made from fresh ingredients and excellent service. It was a perfect stay, and I would love to come back!

We had an amazing two-night stay at Summer Sunset Villa. We booked on the day off and the process was quick, efficient and seamless. The property was clean, tidy, and thoughtfully designed with a minimalistic touch, making it feel both luxurious and relaxing. The high-end furniture and appliances added to the overall comfort and style of the villa. The views of the ocean were absolutely breathtaking—especially during sunset. We had a great time using the Big Green Egg for a braai on the first night, though the only downside was that the sides of the grill were a bit moldy. Still, it didn’t take away from the experience. The location is perfect too—just a short walk to the ocean and nearby restaurants, which was very convenient. The kids had a blast in the jacuzzi, and it was a nice way to unwind. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a helper available on weekends. We found ourselves tidying up after every meal, which took away a bit from the overall relaxation. Overall, it was a luxe and peaceful stay, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a serene escape with stunning views and great amenities.
