We had a family room and though relatively simple was bigger than expected comfortable and great for a few days. The property is outstanding. Tucked away so beautifully quite. A great contrast to the main town of La Fortuna. Makes a mild challenge for eating out but the staffs recommendations were great. The trails are where this place really shines. Outstanding rainforest. Dense, no one else around. Paths the right level of challenge without being too much.

Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

The property is amazing, comfortable, connected with nature, a really nice garden by the pool and an amazing view of the volcano! Don’t get confused by the comments saying the road is dangerous, we came in a normal car, not an 4x4, not an SUV and we managed to get here and out just fine! Even at night with heavy rain, so don’t be scared with those comments. It’s a normal road. So a 10/10 to this place and the staff is really welcoming also.

The studio was really well equipped and comfortable. The welcome center staff were so helpful and gave us lots of ideas for our stay, there is a really handy book of activities in the studio to check out as well. It was very rainy and hazy when we were there so the volcano was covered but we did see part of it on the last day! beautiful either way. the distance from the studio to our activities in La Fortuna was not bad, about half an hour drive
