What a wonderful surprise! The park is much larger than you would think and has so much to explore and do. Very impressive place. Very relaxing. The rooms are a generous size with comfortable beds. The property is big with lots to see. Since it’s not a place with a lot of rooms, it feels very private and quiet. The family of gentlemen that manage and run the place were great with communication and helping find guides for tours and even getting a birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday that happened while we were staying there. Fantastic place. Great communication. Terrific team of people managing and helping. This would also be a great place for a small group retreat or family trip. It’s close to Arenal and La Fortuna without the crowds, hustle and bustle of those areas.

A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

Featuring an extensive garden, furnished terraces with natural pools and rainforest-mountains views, the eco-friendly Rancho Margot is 700 metres from Caño Negro River and 3 km from Arenal Lake. The place is very well integrated in the nature and environment, very beautiful and relaxing. Many activities included in the price which kept us busy for 2 days (farm tour, yoga, pools). Very professional, friendly and polite staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Very good eat-as-you-want meals. We were picked up at the bus stop in La Fortuna which was very helpful.

The property is amazing, comfortable, connected with nature, a really nice garden by the pool and an amazing view of the volcano! Don’t get confused by the comments saying the road is dangerous, we came in a normal car, not an 4x4, not an SUV and we managed to get here and out just fine! Even at night with heavy rain, so don’t be scared with those comments. It’s a normal road. So a 10/10 to this place and the staff is really welcoming also.

The studio was really well equipped and comfortable. The welcome center staff were so helpful and gave us lots of ideas for our stay, there is a really handy book of activities in the studio to check out as well. It was very rainy and hazy when we were there so the volcano was covered but we did see part of it on the last day! beautiful either way. the distance from the studio to our activities in La Fortuna was not bad, about half an hour drive
