The ladies on the reception were always friendly and very helpful with recommending a restaurant nearby to eat and also the best/scenic direction to walk into the old town. The fresh chopped fruit was lovely and the breakfast selection was outstanding.

I loved the location of the hotel, right in the heart of Ghent's historic city center. The hotel is also housed in a beautiful old mansion, which has been beautifully restored and modernized. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

1898 The Post is situated near the heart of Ghent and allow walking to all attractions. Picturesque building and rooms, words cannot describe. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The extraordinary nice people working in the hotel are remarkable. The private spa is the cherry on the cake. The breakfast was also outstanding.
