    Go at 1hr before sunset. Climb to the top. Great view looking down onto the old city if too hazy for the other hill or viewing points such as san Cristobal. Very secure with police walking around. The area below has a lot of good eateries, particularly Lastarria (villavicencio street). During the evening many talented buskers will entertain you on the street next to your tables. A lovely vibe. Security guards patrol this area during the evening. There is an artisan market near the Santa Lucia metro station opposite the hill. Some good stuff there.

    - location is great/ Lastarria, close to old part of town, walking distance to cute little restaurants. Mercado centrale, Santa Lucia Hill, etc. - great breakfast/ poached eggs were my favorite - food in the restaurant was awesome/ ceviche is fantastic and must try, - pamper yourself with pisco sour in a hotel bar on a terrace with a great view of Santiago and San Cristobal (funicular) - very helpful, nice and kind staff - they gave us great advice about everything whatever question we had!

    This apartment was the perfect location. We had views of Santa Lucia Hill from our rooms. Our host went out of his way to accommodate our early arrival. Close to grocery stores, shops, bus line, and downtown.

    Located in an excellent area, this property is conveniently close to shopping, restaurants, and a metro station. Santa Lucía Hill and other interesting attractions are within walking distance. The enormous balcony offers great views, is beautifully decorated with lush green plants, and is equipped with comfortable patio furniture.

    My stay at this hotel was very relaxing and peaceful. I was travelling for business. The hotel staff were great and helpful. The place is super close to the subway station and just next to Santa Lucia hill. Altogether it has been a great experience in Chile! 😊 I'd highly recommend this place!

    Great location next to Santa Lucía hill. Spacious room with a kitchenette. Comfortable bed, I slept well. Reasonably clean. Every evening the staff distributed a little breakfast pack (sandwich, coffee, milk, juice) for the next morning. Very good value for money.
