The front desk is only open until 8 PM; afterward, you need to enter and exit through the back door. Encountered three different staff members at different times, one of whom has a lower proficiency in English, but overall, they are all very enthusiastic. The location is also very close to lively areas. The breakfast content and quality are excellent, worth coming back for.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. We were there for the Christmas market which was right out the back door. Parking was also super convenient, we could take the elevator from our room to our car. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spa resort hotel. It felt like a hidden gem. The pride of ownership is so evident. Every part of the hotel has a creative charm to it. The grounds surrounding the pool were immaculate. The food was always a treat.

This small hotel in Schönau offers a quiet location 0.9 mi away from the scenic Lake Königsee. The Sonnenstern's wellness area includes a free sauna and steam shower.

The ownee was very polite. He chatted us up quite a bit, and helped us find a nice boat ride for Königssee. Him and his wife were attentive to the guests. You can see that they truly love their work and value each customer.
