I guess the location was just SO good for exploring Madrid …..the hotel is on Arenal, 15 minute walk to the Palace and 30 minutes to the Prado ! But also , it was bright, clean , nice coffee/ tapas bar and great breakfasts……& the staff were all so pleasant . We had a wonderful stay ( in spite of it being a rather cold and very wet week for March!)
