    Hotel Agumar is located close enough to Madrid Atocha train station to be convenient, but didn't seem effected by noise. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable, with a great blend of local vibe and tourist attractions, like the jaw dropping, El Retiro Park.

    I loved the location, the cultural mix, the proximity to Centro, one stop to Sol, three blocks to Reina Sophia, short walk to Retiro park, three blocks for groceries, two blocks to Mercado de San Fernando. The apartment is situated in Embajadores. Sit and people watch at Plaza de Yelapies. The transition is incredible. The apartment is new, built out from a commercial storefront. Two bathrooms on the ground floor. Surprisingly quiet.

    The apartment is equipped with everything the visitor needs and if you don’t have it just ask- the staff are extremely generous and excellency with their responses. You can walk to downtown through the lovely Retiro park or take an Uber or cab. Walking time is an hour and it’s a great way to see the many facets of Madrid. There is a fridge microwave hot plate espresso machine (where they replenish the pods daily) and a kettle for tea. Easy walk to the grocery store. Sleeps 4 with well appointed bathroom- good value for the price.

    The location of the Liabeny was great. On the small Plaza del Carmen with multiple eateries and only one block off the Grand Via. We easily walked to the Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, El Retiro Park and more. Taxis are very readily available at the hotel if needed, but it's also very close to the metro. Nice little bar downstairs and a full restaurant, though there are a thousand places to eat within a half mile. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with a great, comfortable bed.

    The two best things about the hotel were the locatoin (walking distance to Retiro Park and some great restaurants) and the service, particularly at the front desk. Atonella made me feel like I was part of the voco family. I'll definitely be back!

    Property has a good location in the city. El Retiro park is walking distance and so many trees around. Kid’s park is just outside the hotel. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Place itself seems like an old castle. Market is just behind the building (for midnight snacks :) )

    As a family of five, it is hard to find budget-conscious places to stay in Madrid. We appreciate that the Newton allowed us to stay in a private room for 4 with 4 bunk beds, and the location is excellent - a 15 minute walk to Retiro park, the Atocha train station, and Museo Sophia Reina. Kids were excited by the bunk beds, and the free churros and coffee/tea in the morning was nice.
