Having ascended the Eiffel Tour before we though a view from...
Having ascended the Eiffel Tour before we though a view from the next tallest building would be a something new. It is just opposite of the Gare Montparnasse which is well sign posted once you are out of the train station. It does look like a tall concrete structure on arrival but the views are worth it. You can see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Sacre Coeur together with an overview of the city. The rooftop does have a good vantage point with a covered area and seating. The glass security panels have 'window areas' to use as view points so that you don't have any 'bounce' back from your camera.
