The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the bus link for the airport so very convenient if flying to Edinburgh. Perfect location between all the activities we wanted to do and very friendly staff checking in. It is almost at the foot of the Calton hills, and just a 10 mins walk to the Waverly station and st. James quarters. Lots of nice places to eat in the neighbourhood. The Royal mile is a bit less than half an hour walk. Overall, wonderful location.
