Very clean and well presented building. Clean, nice room and bathroom. Restaurant food was very good. Breakfast was good and room clean and comfortable.

Located in close proximity to coastal walks and the newly opened Goodwick Moor bird sanctuary with Ivybridge Spa* just next door.

The history and the layout of the castle was amazing. The Lucy Walter room was large and luxurious as was the bathroom. The common lounge room, sunroom and castle nooks were a fabulous bonus. Not to mention the views of the coastline were stunning. As an Australian I was amazed and felt like a queen in being able to stay here.

Location is stunning, short walk from Poppit sands. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful bedrooms, large in size, ours had an outside access to decking and a gorgeous view. Beds are huge and very comfortable. Great bar and dinning area. Great choice of locally brewed beers, and locally sources foods. Would highly recommend. Plenty of free parking to the rear of hotel.

Breakfasts were very good. The dinners we ate there were wonderful, as was the art that lined the walls. Staff were welcoming, helpful and very pleasant. The rooms were very comfortable. Beautiful grounds. Highly recommend.
