Friendly ataff, nice room with a very nice view on the cathedral. I really enjoyed the beautiful site and nice city of Canterbury. Breakfast was really good. There was a last-minute on-premise parking space available, which was very convenient.

Everything was just pefect! The friendly staff helped us feel right at hom from the very beginning of our stay. A nice breakfast in the beautiful patio suited us and our dog perfectly. The style of the hotel was exactly how you would imagine a small , cosy, british hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff, who provided maps and information on Canterbury. Easy parking (free), treat , bed mat and bowl for our dog, excellent room ,newly refurbished. Breakfast was very good , with good quality produce, and yet again excellent young staff. Easy walk into Canterbury. Will definitely stay again if in Canterbury area. We stayed in 13 different hotels on our trip to UK, and this hotel for reasons mentioned above is our number One hotel , well done.

Very comfortable and quiet room. Staff friendly and helpful. As they say 'Home from Home '. Carvery this time was best we've had at The Victoria Hotel. Great choices at breakfast. Nice bar area. Literally a ten minute walk into the lovely city of Canterbury. Lots of things to do in Canterbury with the Marlowe theatre and Gulbenkian theatre. It was great to see them so popular. They deserve to do well.

Perfect location, good price. We were going to the Marlowe theatre and it's literally a few metres away plus easily walkable from Canterbury West and there's a Zizzi opposite for dinner.

The very central location is perfect not only for sightseeing but also for theatre, restaurants, train and bus stations. The view out of the windows, with the Canterbury cathedral spires on one side and the Marlowe Theatre on the other side is impressive. Both the street and the house were quiet and the charming little balcony overlooking small gardens full of trees and flowers rounded up the pleasant atmosphere.

Stayed one night, had a comfortable very clean room on the first floor which had its own street entrance to that section of the hotel. Really close to the Marlowe theatre which was the purpose of our stay. Friendly staff and a good selection of food at the continental breakfast

The room was small but adequate for my needs and very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and polite. Breakfast is continental only but this was mentioned when I booked. I was attending the Marlowe Theatre so this is the ideal location.
