BelgiumFinding affordable accommodation in a big city is always difficult. Waterloo House is within walking distance to Fleet Street and there are bus services available to go to different parts of the city. The room was very nice with everything one could want. The Gregorian style houses in this part of the city are a sight to behold. On-site parking is an extra bonus as you probably won't be needing the car much. Many restaurants and pubs in the immediate vicinity.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had both hot menu and continental breakfast included. Room was a little small compared to US standards. Hard to open luggage on floor due to space. But still a good choice. Only suggestion would have coffee carafe available for the early morning risers. Or a working kuerig by the front desk. A wonderful place to relax, read, and be peaceful amidst the city. And the hard to get to public park in the way back was just the cherry on top. I also liked the little drink center and comfy reading room...was less a bar scene than just a nice relaxing room.
