Location is SUPERB! The rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend having drinks at sunset in the hotel front terrace, the view is amazing and the drinks delicious (highly recommend the house wine)!

Staff exceptionally nice and kind, especially Eva w from Food and Beverages WHO made for us the best coffee we have ever tasted. Not to mention how kind she was to us at breakfast. One of the BEST breakfasts we ever had. Chiara, Valeria and Silvia (Front desk) where so kind to us, organized everything, from motor bike rent, beach and restaurant bookings, to transfers and train tickets. One of the best professionals in the hotel industry we have met, not to mentioned how kind they were at the same time. In short, AMAZING!

    The lower gunnery with windows in all directions framing...

    The lower gunnery with windows in all directions framing beautiful sea and coastal views is not to be missed and the interior of the main castle room is majestic and beautiful. This was our favorite site in Cefalu and they happened to have an interesting pre-impressionist show in a side buidling that was one of those happy just by chance experiences.

    Verify the closing time....

    Verify the closing time.... When I was there it said it was open until 7PM. I arrived well before that and it had closed... Was pretty disappointed and I was not the only one. There were at least a half dozen other folks who showed up to find it closed also!
