This square is close to the heart of this city and is surrounded by a numbe of excellent restaurants and cozy cafès, typically close to the sea. There are many nice and inexpensive hotels of which my favorite is Hotel Villa Sophia, a beach hotel about 10 minutes walk from the Casino and the best restaurants. Clean, nice rooms, freindly staff and moderately priced even though they have increased prices recently.Guest review byJohnNorway

Since we came by car, private parking in the garage in the same building was a huge bonus. The location is good, it was a bit of a walk to Piazza Colombo and a bit more to the sea. And more important, it is extremely clean. The balcony is large and offers a view of the sea. We spent 6 days and felt at home. The apartment was easy to find, because the host sent a video with directions. It is a 20-25 minute walk from the centre, but there is a bus every 15 minutes from the centre, from Piazza Colombo.
