Everything was absolutely excellent. The staff were very helpful. The bed is excellent. Location is excellence. It feels like a first class Hotel. The shower was absolutely fantastic and could be enjoyably used by more than one person at a time

    Great hotel, great location, close to the city center and many attractions. I enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and the sea view. The breakfast was excellent. I travel a lot but I think that the breakfast in Kobe´s Meriken Park Oriental Hotel was the best I´ve ever had.

    Located near the harbour (Meriken Park) and close to Kobe's ChinaTown, it was a great location to spend the our one night in Kobe. The hotel is really clean, staff is friendly. Our room had a good view of the ocean which was another plus.

    This hotel is in a fantastic location, super close to JR Kobe station, to Harborland and Meriken Park. It seemed very new and was tastefully decorated. The room was small but comfortable, had everything including pyjamas, water bottles, two pillows each. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, and there were complimentary drinks each afternoon in the lobby restaurant. The blinds blocked out all the light at night, which was great.

    Convenient location close to station and china town and a short walk to Meriken park. Staff were very helpful and knew enough English to help us at check in. We left our luggage at the hotel before we checked in. Missed out on buffet breakfast but we still went to have lunch there instead and it was really good.

    Excellent size hotel room in a great location in Kobe. Hotel is within 10 minute walking distance of 2 train stations. It is also within 25 minute walking distance of the major attractions in Kobe: the Nunobiki Herb Gardens, the Kobe Port and Meriken Park, and Kitano Ijinkan. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite.

    Meriken park at the hotel's doorstep. The japanese garden which u can look at in the lobby. Free shuttle bus to Kobe train station n back. Spacious room with chair n coffee table to enjoy the view of port. Besides Mosiac dining area, there was a mall with big Muji store n Aeon style supermarket opposite Mosiac.

    1) Amazing view 2) Good location 3) Bus shuttle to Sannomiya 4) Balcony! 5) Travellator to go up to the lobby 6) No frills check-out Time flies when we're staying in Meriken Park Oriental Hotel. This meant that the overall experience is very good and we're indeed sad to check out. We'll definitely consider staying here again if we come to Kobe again one day.

    The location is excellent for strolling around Motomachi, Sannomiya, and Meriken Park. It's also convenient for reaching Kobe Station, although I didn't travel in that direction. Moreover, the staff is very attentive to the environment; I always found a clean restroom available.
