Polished hotel with far more space in the room than I expected. Everything was pleasant during my stay and I loved having the space to open my luggage and still have space to walk around. 500ml bottled water provided every day was also much appreciated. The separated bathroom and toilet were also pretty big and I really cannot praise more that the hotel provides tray organisers on the bathroom shelf. It made me feel at home that I didn't have to haphazardly place things on the counter. The hot tub/jacuzzi in the public bath was also a pleasant surprise, and I liked that this hotel provides keycards for the public bath instead of making people remember passcodes. As someone who starts the day late, I'm also appreciative of being able to have the room cleaned all the way up to 3pm. Staff were always courteous and helpful and made it feel like a 5-star experience staying here. I liked the location as well, it's not too far from Gaienmae Station and my favourite Doutor Coffee. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Super cool hotel with many restaurants and fun stuff to do. The hotel is very new and the room was clean and had very comfortable beds. The large window in the room have an amazing view of Shinjuku. The hotel is located only 5 minutes walk to the Shinjuku station. Right in the middle of the lively center of Shinjuku with shops, movies and restaurants just outside the hotel. I would love to stay there again.

    You gotta spend half day here to fully explore everything this park has to offer! Just like with everything in Tokyo, you'll walk loooong distances back and forth, but this park is a good option for this who just wanna get out of the buzz and fuss of noisy city..

    Great hotel right by Shinjuku station. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel has washing machines and dryers, very useful in hot Japanese summer - the machines work great. Price / value is great too. The room was quite small but had all that we needed, the free amenities in the lobby were useful too. The location is GREAT, so many bars and restaurants within a 5min walk, near attractions like the Metropolitan Gov Building, Yoyogi Park, Kabukicho etc. Next time I'm in Shinjuku I will 100% consider Sunroute again.

    The location is fantastic, 20 min walk from shibuya while still being a really nice and calm almost small town vibe area was so great! Also really nice and close to yoyogi park and the Meji shrine which was lovely.

    There is a sense of quality about this hotel. The rooms, while not large, are immaculate. The pool is such a bonus. The location next to Yoyogi Park and the lively neighbourhood are wonderful.

    Nature in Tokyo... a couple of recommendations based on my limited experiences; Yoyogi Park is a great way to cure jet lag with a good long morning stroll to build up an appetite; Hamarikyu Gardens are a compact but breathtaking oasis of tranquility and beauty surrounded by skyscrapers.
