We liked absolutely everything about our stay at Mnarani Beach Club. The rooms were comfortable and came with a mini fridge. The staff was fantastic - friendly, kind, and super helpful. The food was great - different types of cuisine every evening plus a wide variety of menu items that could be ordered a la cart. The activities staff offered a variety of activities daily including evening entertainment that ranged from a trivia contest, to coconut bowling, to an acrobatic troupe performance, to a Maasai Dancer performance. Non-motorized watersports are also included with any package that includes meals. The spa services were also great and highly recommended. We loved our time and were sad to leave.

Salty’s is a real hub on Kilifi’s main beach — the only cool, vibe-y spot along a stretch of private villas and more staid resorts. For a very good price, you get great places to lounge, a scene-y restaurant that draws people from all over and first-rate kite surfing (we did not partake). Don’t miss the sister resto called Salty’s on the Creek! A boat serving ambitious, delicious food.
