Along the Mekong river, this hotel has all different little buildings circling a beautiful garden, but the origin of the buildings is the most interesting. The owner relocated original, wooden buildings from around Laos to the property, so nothing you see is the same, and every room is different. What you get is a totally unique experience and that experience is very comfortable, quiet, amazing - while also feeling out in the country-side. Good for people who are not too particular about smooth luxury, and who are in need of beautiful surroundings. The bed was great, and the room had a homely feel with the convenience of a good bathroom and mine had a kitchenette. The staff was beyond good, and everyone there was ready for a chat if you wanted so. The breakfast was the best I had in Luang Prabang, and the little bar being open while the sun sets gives everything a feel of a relaxed holiday. The resort (no pool) is next to a small temple, and there is a shuttle bus taking you back to town (5 mins) to go to the nightmarket. Walking to the market was about 25 mins. The hotel also organised a Waterfall and a Mekong river cruise for me, which were very good.

Great location, very close to the Royal Palace Museum, entrance to the Mount Phousi and morning/night markets, but in the side street, so it is very quiet. There are two beautiful temples right next to the hotel. I stayed in the standard room on the ground floor, the room itself is quite small, but it is has a big window and it was nice to have sunlight. The WIFI was strong and reliable (I work remotely), breakfast good and staff are very helpful.

This is a lovely, well-kept, and well-run property. The architecture is also lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was nothing wrong with the property itself except its location. It's located down a dark alley that leads from the main street. That said, it was only footsteps from both the night market and the day market. Step outside and turn right on the alleyway, walk about a hundred feet to the day market. Turn right at the alleyway and walk about a hundred feet to the night market.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good. Our room was a nice size with a comfortable bed, bathroom and shower. It was quiet. We loved the view of the river.

    if you like royal utilities and soem old cars, than it is nice to walk around and get to know more info, by standing next to a group of people speaking your language and you will learn lots of history. Secondly, cover shoulders and legs, no shorts alowed in. You will have to rent trousers and skirts and leave deposit, which will be returned at the end of your visit. They have lockers for your valuables.
