This little hotel is amazing! The property and rooms are much more beautiful than you can tell in the photos— we were in an oasis from the time we entered the property. The check in staff was friendly and professional, and the rooms are spacious, very clean, and smell like a spa. The staff will ask you what you’d like for breakfast the next day, and they prepare it for you as you sit in the garden dining area. Coffee is great, and attention to detail is exceptional. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the city center, where I’d recommend Tacos Don Lalo— they were some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. The streets around the hotel are a little bit dark, but we saw so many locals walking about—kids running around, women walking alone— so I felt comfortable walking in town in the evenings.

    Get there early, and make sure you get a guide so that you’ll be able to experience all the hidden little places that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to get see inside the eco park. The best place to park and eat is at the very last little stand that is to your left when entering. The name of it is called El Lugar, great food and secure parking.
