Henke and Annemarie’s hospitality was outstanding, the best we’ve experienced! B&B Hotel Malts is right in the heart of Haarlem (yet a quick bus trip to from Schiphol Airport), it’s beautifully decorated - we loved coming “home” after a day’s activities fuelled by a generous, freshly cooked Dutch breakfast. We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more highly.

Located only 30min away from Amsterdam (by train), this little hotel is awesome outside peak season for visiting multiple regions close to Amsterdam, and Amsterdam district. Train station is 5min away by foot. During peak season, there's a generous beach within 10 min walk distance, so very convenient. The room was spacious, warm and sunny, with lovely old wood furniture, clean, large and modern bathroom. On premise kitchen had everything you needed, in case you decided to cook, but even just for a quick coffee or breakfast Hosts were very friendly and accomodated us as soon as we arrived, even if it was not yet the check-in time. They also allowed us to leave luggage with them after check-out, for a few more hours, until we had to head towards the airport. All in all, we loved our stay at La Rosa. Thank you.

    Loved the atmosphere of the historical building combined with a cool and colourful style. Super friendly personnel. Breakfast was excellent, same goes for the drinks. Only a couple of minutes from Haarlem station with Zandvoort and Amsterdam Centraal easy to reach by train in no time.

    We had a wonderful one week stay in this apartment.It is in a great position,close to cafes and restaurants,a supermarket and Haarlem station less than a 10 minute walk away.The apartment is set up with everything you need and is very comfortable.The communication from the hosts,Michelle and Simon,was excellent and they always responded quickly to any queries.We would happily stay here again!

    The staff was helpful, well-informed and very kind - I got to check-in a bit earlier than the scheduled time. Both the dormitory and the shared spaces were clean and the hostel’s location is easy to reach from Haarlem Station.

    Wonderful one-room appartment with garden view, delicious breakfast served in-room, and very nice and helpful hosts. Very good location in the middle of town with lots of restaurants and shops around. The bus stop is directly in front of the house, and the bus takes you in 3 minutes to Haarlem Station.

    We loved the location right in the centre of Haarlem. It was very quiet and cosy inside. We booked Apartment B and everything was fine. Very handy to have a washing machine and dryer. There are a couple of supermarkets close by (eg Jumbo), lots of cafes, Bus 300 got us to Haarlem from the airport and the same bus takes you on to Haarlem station. Great spot to stay.

    Haarlem is an attractive place ( I knew having visited as a day trip) and so easy to reach from the airport and much better value as well as being less crowded than Amsterdam but still with the attraction of many places in the Netherlands. I used a bus which took 40 minutes and goes regularly from directly outside the airport terminal. Top tip for this hotel get off at the last but one stop before Haarlem station, as it's closer to reach it.

    Optimum location next to Haarlem station. Overall, this hotel was better than expected. The outer façade has nothing to do with the interior. The bedroom was cozy, very clean and fully renovated.
