Our stay at the voco Auckland City Centre was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the incredible staff and their dedication to guest comfort. We arrived in Auckland on a red-eye flight, landing in the middle of the night. Not only did the hotel graciously check us in at 4:00 am, but they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Imagine our surprise when we were greeted with freshly made pizzas! After a long journey, this unexpected gesture of hospitality was exactly what we needed. The excellent service continued throughout our stay. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's central location was also a major plus, making it easy to walk to many of Auckland's top attractions. We highly recommend the voco Auckland City Centre to anyone visiting Auckland. Their commitment to guest satisfaction, particularly their willingness to go the extra mile, truly sets them apart.

Excellent location within walking distance of main restaurants, shops, attractions in the CBD. The staff was excellent, really attentive! They helped us with our luggage from and to our car, gave us great dining recommendations. Luggage storage past checkout was no problem at all. Our room was SO clean — overall truly superb with lots of lovely amenities. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone!

The location is very central. You can walk to attractions in the city within 30 minutes from it. The Skytower is only a 6-minute walk away. We strolled back to the hotel after dinner at the Princess Wharf and it was very cozy. The breakfast was also very nice and we enjoyed it a very comfortable setting with view of the street and Skytower.

The name of the museum might mislead some into thinking it...

The name of the museum might mislead some into thinking it is a war museum. In fact, this museum contains an amazing collection of Maori and Pacific islands artifacts and displays that are well displayed and very impressive.

I went there to try to get some info about my uncle who died...

I went there to try to get some info about my uncle who died in the second world war and was never found. They had no info for me and told me to try somewhere else instead the display was really average and overall I left there feeling let down on behalf of my uncle I think he deserved more respect I actually cried as I felt so sad for his memory being treated like he didn't matter because surely he didn't give his life at age 20 to be disrespected so blatently
