Great location, comfortable, great breakfast with eggs made to order, common tea/coffee room open until 10 pm they also tend to have cookies and croissants from breakfast. Jure (I'm not sure if I got the spelling right) was great help and gave us recommendations for the best restaurants and route to walk for sightseeing and Christmas markets. We loved those huge automatic wooden doors 😀

Perfect experience- very pleasant place; nicely designed, well maintained with staff being always available to quickly and promptly come forward to any request without any complication. One of the nicest exeperiences in a hotel. THe location is really nice, downtown can be reaced in jsut a 5 minutes walk. Looking forward to coming back.

A very good museum.

A very good museum. It's funny to see newspapers dating back to 1918 and 1945. Both of the newspapers announced new governments as "Prva narodna vlada Slovenije" (the first people's government of Slovenija). It seems that every new regime proclaimes itself as a people's government as opposed to a former regime that is regarded as no people's government. It testifies to the fact that democracy is hard to establish and that it takes a whole lot of time to create something bearing resemblance to modern democracies, likes of which today's political scientists regard as real democracies.
