By itself it's beautiful but very poorly kept.

By itself it's beautiful but very poorly kept. And the difference between toursit and local prices are kind of rude. Also, I found the staff very rude like yelling "don't take photos with your phone of anything!". It's very dusty and hard to breathe in! Maybe a few instagramable places outside but the rest is just.. cold and distant. It gave me a vibe like "give us the money, look around then go!"

Amazing tour of the beautiful palace!

Amazing tour of the beautiful palace! The grandeur of culture, lifestyle, & historical architecture displayed neatly. Beautifully decorated King's bedroom, apartments of his mother & wives gave the glimpse of their lifestyle. I'll say, in today's age, our living style is much more luxurious & easy! LOL

Come early or multiple times, because you need time to walk around the museum, palace & harem. It closes pretty early. The museum is PHENOMINAL! And the ticket is valid for 7 days!!! so go multiple times or spend the whole day once.

one person we met calls it the Dolce and Gabbana Palace.

one person we met calls it the Dolce and Gabbana Palace. I saw it many years ago, and it's super kitsch inside. Probably worth seeing how the sultans ruined their country's economy by pouring all wealth into a single palace, though, if you've never seen it before.

Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 4 reviews
The location is excellent, not only very close to important landmarks such as Taksim Square, Dolmabahçe Palace, but also within easy reach of other must-see districts like Beşiktaş and Kadıköy, taking the ferry across the Bosphorus was just amazing. Breakfast was included and it was great. The hotel also has direct transportation options from the airport, which made things very convenient. A special thanks to the gentleman with long hair who was especially helpful during my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Valente Suites & Hotel. The location in Beşiktaş is perfect, close to cafes, shops, and Dolmabahçe Palace. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable, with useful kitchen facilities. Staff were kind and always helpful. Great value for money – I’d definitely stay here again!
