    Assateague Island is not just beach, seafood, ponies, nature...

    Assateague Island is not just beach, seafood, ponies, nature, lighthouse, bird watching, shopping, kayaking, cruises, and friendly people, it's all of these things that make it so special. Once you visit, if you choose to, you make friends for life. There are so many activities and fun things to do, that a week isn't long enough. It's my favorite island, home away from home, and my favorite vacation spot.

    Wild ponies running around the beach and woods surrounding...

    Wild ponies running around the beach and woods surrounding the area. Be very careful while driving as you never know when they will dart out of the bushes onto the road. Obey the speed limit as posted!

    The location is perfect, close to plenty of food options and a short drive up Maddox to Assateague Beach. The rooms have updated and clean decor, the bed was very comfortable. Room was cleaned daily. Pool was great!
