I paid Booking.com in full for this trip.
I paid Booking.com in full for this trip. I get to the check ion and Hampton can not retrieve their money from you. My payment cleared my bank on 4-12-2024. In order to check in I had to use my credit card again. I spoke with customer service but the English was not even good enough to communication. i told them just cancel and I will pay here at the hotel. She said she would but I would get my money back in 7-12 days. First real problem ever with booking but this one is very irritating. Please try to solve tonight. I have one more day here for a funeral and really don't need frustration that could have been avoided.Guest review byJERRYUnited States - 10.0
My favorite beach!
My favorite beach! We parked on the beach this time and used one of the shelters to eat. We went during the week and we basically had the beach to ourselves. The park rangers regularly patrol the area which gives us peace of mind.Guest review byAlfredoUnited States - 10.0
Don’t expect a beach at Emerald Hotel it is the bay there...
Don’t expect a beach at Emerald Hotel it is the bay there are no waves there is a pool that is so blu you can’t see past your abdomen if you want to go to a nice beach with waves I suggest Padre Island there are waves you do have to walk down a pier a ways but at the end of the walk there are recliners and umbrellas that you can rent for $25 a day. The ocean side view at EmeraldHotel wasn’t the ocean and I asked before we went on vacation!! I called and was told yes it’s the ocean. The only thing I can say positive is that everyone was helpful and eager to help!! I appreciated the staff very much!!Guest review byAnonymousUnited States

We always get day passes to Mustang Island State Park for its clean beach and prohibited beach driving/parking, and the location of this rental was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the room even included a recliner that was perfect for nursing and rocking our baby.
