From the reception, how we were received and till we left, the staff were absolutely fantastic! The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was varied. Provided affordable driver to take us to where we wanted and also drop us at the airport. The spa was divine, they went above and beyond to ensure I had my massage before I left for the airport. Particular mention is Grace, the sales lady, absolutely gem. She sure knows how to give a good bargain.

If you're reading this review, go ahead and book this place without a second thought. Loved everything about this place. This is located in the heart of the bustling Hanoi market area with access to everything you need. The staff, particularly Lily, were amazing. We planned to stay one night, but ended up spending three nights. We booked a day tour to Ninh binh with their help. In fact, we were traveling to Da Nang after Hanoi and Lily helped us book a highly customised tour in Da Nang for Bana Hills which saved us a lot of time and travel. While we were checking out, they gifted us a cute Vietnamese couple magnet set which we thought was a very heart warming gesture. Whenever we come back to Hanoi again, we know where we'll be staying :)

Staff, first and foremost. Mai and Vian in particular were a delight - so welcoming and incredibly helpful this being our first visit to Hanoi. The hotel is a quite small and has a very cosy familiar feel. Location is excellent near the lake and the cost was very reasonable for good sized rooms.

Certainly a must see place.

Certainly a must see place. It will leave you sad at just how violent their history past and recent has been. A strong and excellently chronicled and display of the Vietnamese war and the effects both political and physically of Americas role in such barbarism, such as the use of agent orange, not forgetting Frances period of rule and also prior the Chinese etc.
