Coming from 3 weeks camping in the bush in Botswana , this accommodation felt like heaven . The Sondela reserve has all amenities one can wish on site and the house is just amazing, extremely large and confortable (much better than on the pictures ) . It was the perfect stop on our last day of holidays before heading back to Joburg’s airport.

We needed something to stay over on the way to Botswana and Vlakkieskraal was ideal. A quiet place, nestled in the bush with everything you need. The owners were super nice and helpful and even upgraded us into one of their bigger units. Can only recommend this place.

    Sondela Nature reserve gave free pancakes on arrival - great touch and kids loved it. Swimming pools are kept clean and loads of activities to do for kids which is managed by the property.
